20 Time blogs

The 20 Time project that I read about was Olivia's "Get Baked". From last Friday, Olivia didn't make anything new. she wrote a paragraph on how she has improved her cooking skills and realizes she enjoys doing it. She is done with 20 Time for the rest of the year.

I have only been out once to take pictures and actually do my 20 Time. The obstacles of doing my 20 Time is having other projects to work. I can wrap up this project by taking a few pictures and see if any changes have happened to the pictures I took before. As a senior, this is my last 20 Time so there isn't a next step. Its my last one :(

20 Time Post

Grosse Pointe:
The blog that I read about was "Get Baked". Since my last post, she has made 4 new different dishes. She made Banana chocolate chip cookies, Strawberry Hand pies, Muffins that taste like donuts, and a Swedish mocha cake. Some of the problems were that the cookies were stiff because she over cooked them a little, she didn't let the mocha cake sit long enough, and she couldn't fit strawberries in the hand pies so she really couldn't shape them like hearts.

My 20 Time:
My project is getting better at taking photographs since I am horrible at them. This is a new idea, last trimester I cooked food. Caitlynn Henderson is my mentor because she takes amazing pictures and is much better at them than I am. I took my first round of photos Wednesday so I havent really made progress yet. Next is to take more pictures.

7 Picture Project

20 Time own blog post

1. What is your project?
My Project is Making healthy meals, that don't taste so healthy.

2. Describe in detail on what you plan presenting your 20 time project.
I plan on making a power point with pictures of the things I made and bring in something I made so everyone can try it.

3. Are you happy with the topic you chose, or would you have chosen differently if given another chance? Why?
Yes, because I enjoy cooking and making different things and I am trying to be as healthy as I can so learning new ways to cook and be healthy has been fun for me.

20 Time Grosse Point blog

1. What 20 time project did you read about?
I read about 'Get Baked' Which was about a girl named Olivia.

2. What kind of progress are they making?
She has made 2 more meals since the last time I did a post.

3. Have there been any problems with their project and how did they deal with them?
On her chocolate chip banana cookies, she noticed that you needed to cook the cookies longer and add less chocolate chips. She said that the cookies had a weird texture.

20 Time blog

1. My project is making healthy foods that don't taste healthy.

2. My goals for 20 Time project is looking up and finding recipes that I can make healthy but still taste like they are unhealthy. The skills that I want to develop are learning how to cook healthy meals and learning to change a recipe and make it healthy,

3. One obstacle is substituting the bad ingredients in a recipe for something healthy but making the taste stay the same. I did research on ingredients that I could substitute them for, and that's how i overcame the obstacle.

4.The final project that I want to make and present to the class is homemade mac n cheese.

Grosse Point blog #1

1.  The 20 Time project that I read about was Olivia D's "Get baked" project

2. The progress that Olivia is making is she has created a total of 6 new foods since I first looked at her blog.

3. One of the problems that she faced was not reading the instructions carefully and having to remake the gingerbread houses over again.

4. Their 20 Time project compares to my interest because my 20 Time project is cooking healthy foods that don't taste healthy so it's similar. I am making foods like Olivia is and I enjoy looking up recipes.

iPhone vs. Android

My results were that more people preferred iPhone's over Androids. I think that more people picked iPhone's over Androids because the iPhone is the easiest smartphone to use and its also more popular than Android phones; you see more people with iPhone's than you do with Androids. I think that more and more people will switch to the iPhone in the future just because they keep expanding the phone and making newer models all the time,
